Worth watching for its grit and performances, but be prepared for a stretched and predictable climax.

The show does not lose steam, thanks to its short runtime, but it does lose its way in between. A tone that goes from downtrodden to simply traumatic does not help its case either. It is only a heartwrenching finale that salvages the narrative somewhat.

Till the show, based on Vish Dhamija’s book Bhendi Bazaar, stays within the lines of a police procedural, it remains believable. A couple of characters – a journalist (Samara Tijori ) who seems to know more than anyone else, and a drug addict (Aditya Rawal) who has old connections with the former – take the plot and begin running with it.
